Light Switch
This project won best functional functional feature in a national design competition. Although it's only a prototype application, the function is primarily to get rid of the cheap looking plastic light switch typical of all buildings, with a functional sculptural accent. As a rule, Concrete Jungle Design aims to create highly innovative and tactile architectural details.
It is a touch switch. And it works great for a prototype. We are designing other configurations that would be available, cast into concrete.
The switch itself is a sheet of polished copper set in concrete, but any conducting substance in any shape will work as a switch in this application (including water).
